About
I’ve always been fascinated by automation
I’m an automation enthusiast who woke up one morning and realized “I’ve been at the same company for 19 years!” At this point, I’m not sure if that counts as loyalty, inertia, or just really well-automated comfort. Staying in one place for nearly two decades means I’ve seen a lot: legacy systems that refuse to die, “temporary” fixes that became permanent, and code I wrote years ago that I now judge harshly (but secretly admire for still working). Over the years, I’ve watched technology evolve along with my worldview. That gave me а unique perspective — I’ve had the chance to grow with the systems I support, understand them deeply, and continuously improve them over time instead of just scratching the surface or starting over in new places. I’ve spent most of my career, and life for that matter, trying to eliminate repetitive tasks, mostly because I’m equal parts efficient and… a bit lazy in the most productive way possible.
This blog will be a place where I share the things I build, break, fix, and occasionally over-engineer — along with thoughts on automation, IT life, and why doing things manually feels increasingly suspicious.
